One last trip

One last trip to pick Madison up and bring her home. It feels better having her close. Madison never did get to a point where she could take care of herself independently. At least not completely. I still washed her hair and helped pick out her clothes to dress her. I tied her shoes and made her lunches. I cleaned her face after meals and made sure she did her homework. I knew every inch of her, every quirk. All those years cleaning her, brushing her teeth, and her beautiful hair, all now in a bag in a box. Pretty sure I won’t be able to go anywhere in the house without her for a while. She definitely wouldn’t like her temporary box though. I’ll reveal her final home when we have it. She would be so excited if she knew.💜
