Bananas

Madison loved bananas. Well, actually, she had a love-hate relationship with bananas. The only way she would eat them is if they were green or completely yellow. If the skin had even the tiniest bit of brown on it she would make a “yuck” noise and say, “NASTY BANANA!!” When she actually did approve of the appearance and eat one, she would inevitably throw the peel in the recycling bin. We tried over and over to tell her to throw it in the regular trash, but she continued doing it. We just learned this morning that in January, LA County will require banana peels to be thrown away in the recycling and I can’t help but giggle at what her response would be. Most likely, she would point to her head and say, “Knowledge.”
