Thinking about you, knowing how much you loved it here
The Florida beaches on the Gulf Coast are beautiful. We have many memories of Madison playing in the surf and the sand on this exact stretch of beach. The moment my feet felt the sand I started crying. I had to stop and catch my breath a few times. I walked up and down the beach just trying to not feel the pain of her absence. Our second trip to this beach was a little easier but we still couldn’t stay long. With only the sound of the waves to focus on, our minds were able to wander and the sadness came back. In time I know we will be able to enjoy this place like we used to.
