A New Year

💜May we greet the new year with hope

💜Always cherish and document every moment that we would treasure

💜Have perspective during our most trying times

💜Choose empathy over self-centeredness

💜Remember our commitment to Christ before we speak or post

💜Never forget we are all loved and are called to love all of God’s children, even if it’s difficult.

Every moment of our lives is a memory. Every act we take, every word we speak leaves a mark that can’t be erased, good or bad. So let’s make sure our actions and words leave a positive mark, a memory that shows people their feelings and thoughts are considered and respected, even if we disagree. I want to post, speak and act in a way that reflects Christ in my life.

I move into a new year forever heartbroken and still feeling empty. I’m holding on tight to my memories, what it was like having Madison around. I don’t want to lose that even though I know that feeling is already fading. I can still close my eyes and feel her hands, forehead, hair, and nose the day we lost her, the last moments I had with her in person. I can’t believe I’m greeting a new year without Madison, but I’m so grateful she was in my life. I’m definitely lucky to have been chosen to be her momma, to be the one who knew and enjoyed everything she was.
