Pineapple

I can hear her now. The dramatic gasp followed by a tiny squeal and, “Yes, YES, I LOVE IT, I LOOOVE IT!!*little joyful laugh and dance*.”She loved Spongebob. We needed something that was unique, that stood out and, while it makes us sad, also makes us smile. She gets to live in a pineapple just like her favorite character.

It’s a strange feeling to love and dislike something at the same time. I love that it makes me think of her happiness and I dislike it for the reality it forces us to face every day. I’m grateful that we can have something so personal, though. It’s perfect.
